Police said the man attacked the woman as she was walking into her apartment on the 6000 block of the Roosevelt Boulevard at about 10 p.m. He threatened her and took her jewelry.

The attacker then forced his victim to call someone to bring him money. He forced her into her vehicle and drove away, only to return to meet the woman’s friend. When the friend handed over the cash, the attacker fled with the victim still inside the car. He let her out a block away and drove off.

The attacker is Hispanic and about 20 years old. He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and has a muscular build. He was wearing a gray or green shirt around his face.
